10 chic guestbook alternatives. I have been on a mission to find chic and unique wedding guestbook ideas. When it comes to attending a wedding as a guest, one of my favourite parts of the day is getting to sign the guestbook, as I love the idea that the newlyweds will get to read each memory and well-wish after the big day. However, I am particularly keen on alternatives that can be displayed or used, and will be enjoyed by the couple for years after.

I love this idea as the hearts are just big enough for guests to sign, but the whole frame can be displayed after the big day. The colours are customisable too, meaning you can match it to your wedding theme or to the decor of your home. Sets are available from 65 to 190 hearts.

A take on the popular 'fingerprint tree' idea, with cute mason jar doodles. Personalised with date, names and in a range of colour schemes and fonts. Available for 10 to 350 guests.

For a couple who loves games, a personalised Jenga-style set that guests can sign, and the couple can use after the big day on game night! The set comes with 40 to 100 blocks and each block is big enough for several messages as all sides are blank. The vendor also does larger quantities of blocks on special request.

As a science geek myself, this one particularly calls to me! While the table may be a little small for large messages, the PDF file can be purchased larger. Colours, names and date are customiseable for this digital purchase.

Guests write their messages on puzzle pieces, leaving the couple with a jigsaw to either keep to complete again and again or arrange in a frame to display (I like the idea of glueing the pieces together and framing in a box frame) The store are happy to create custom pieces and feature the new couples names on the designs which are made of solid walnut wood.

These wish cards can be tied to a wish tree (or a real tree!) or used as extra decor after guests have written their well wishes on them. There are 54 in a set which comes with ribbon and a pen. These would look amazing at an outdoor garden or marquee summer wedding.

This is my favourite idea so far, as I love the DIY/rustic look. This would look amazing on display afterwards and would be perfect for a themed wedding for those who have a more earthy and natural feel to their big day. Each plank can hold about 60 messages and can be written on in sharpie.

A case of 200+ hearts for a rustic wedding, staining, date and name can be personalised. I would frame all of these after they'ed been written on, or perhaps stick them to a feature wall or a photo wall!

Essentially a large wooden version of your last name for guests to sign, painted in your choice of colour. The longer your name it seems (6+ letters), the smaller the lettering. The set comes with hangers to display on the wall. Cute idea but not much room to write on!

Send in your own engagement (or other nice photo of yourselves) photo, name, date and choice of font and colours and get a sign-able tile picture. Each guest gets a 'tile' to sign which they stick back on the board to recreate the photo. Can be made in a 50 to 252 piece image.
